Seeking experienced therapists to join the Health and Healing Therapy team.

We are looking for licensed mental health therapists who are searching for a place to call home. We strive to support our therapists as they professionally grow and thrive. Health and Healing Therapy PLLC is a multi-specialty group practice which provides counseling and therapy services that focus on helping children, teens, adults, couples, families and groups. We are a diverse W-2 employee practice that provides a supportive, collaborative, and growing team and culture which helps people Grow, Heal, and Thrive.

We are a team of passionate therapists who help people learn how to care for themselves, realize they are enough, are deserving of healing, are not alone, and can create the life they want.

Therapist Roles & Responsibilities


Clinical Responsibilities

  • Therapists conduct clinical evaluation assessments, diagnostic impressions, therapy sessions, and coordination of care services.
  • Documentation includes assessment summaries, therapy session notes, treatment plans, and collaboration notes when coordinating care with another professional.
  • Therapists who are interested, trained in group work, and have experience facilitating groups, will have the opportunity to facilitate various groups throughout the year. (If you like groups, this a great way to earn more income.) Group facilitation is optional and not required.
  • Because our practice practice promotes and values ongoing education and clinical training, therapists are encouraged and expected to continue to seek regular clinical trainings to deepen their skill-set.

Desired Qualifications


Licensure Qualification

Clinical Therapists are required to have one of the following valid Illinois licenses:

  • LCSW (licensed clinical social worker)
  • LCPC (licensed clinical professional counselor)
  • LSW (licensed social worker)
  • LPC (licensed professional counselor)
  • LMFT (licensed marriage and family therapist)

*licensed social workers and licensed professional counselors (LSW or LPC) need to have post-graduate counseling and therapy experience and need to be seeking a full-time therapist position.

Essential Clinical Expertise

Each therapist is encouraged to identify their own niche population(s) and clinical issues that they feel the most confident in treating, allowing them to do their best work.

Candidates need to have received formalized training in (1) or more of the following:

  • Art Therapy or Play Therapy
  • ACT, DBT, ERP
  • EMDR or Brainspotting, ISSTD Training or other Trauma Therapy
  • Family Therapy
  • LGBTQ + Specialization
  • Grief, Loss, Mourning
  • Chronic Illinois & Chronic Pain
  • Gottman Method or Emotionally Focused Therapy
  • Somatic Experiencing Therapy or Sensorimotor Psychotherapy
  • Autism or ADHD Treatment Specialization
  • CADC and substance abuse or 
  • Gambling treatment or Gaming therapy speciality

Income Range

Annual earnings potential for full-time therapists range from $60,000 – $80,000 for provisionally licensed therapists and $75,000 – $100,000 for clinically licensed therapists. More details shared at the first interview.

Beyond providing individual and/or couples therapy, if clinicians are interested, there are additional income earning opportunities through facilitating groups, providing community education or outreach services, blog writing, vlog creation, etc.

Work Schedule & Availability


Each therapist’s schedule will be developed and agreed upon during the hiring process. Evening work is required. Weekend hours are optional. Our office is in Bartlett, Illinois. Currently therapists have an optional hybrid schedule, working in the office for 3 days and working 1-2 days each week form home.

Work Hours

Full-time therapist’s position expectation is to facilitate (25) therapy sessions per week with a schedule that includes:

  • (3) evenings per week with additional daytime hours

  • (2) evenings and (1) weekend day with additional day hours.
