Hi, I’m Rosio.
I will provide support for you, your child, your teen, or your family during your time of need. If you or they have had or are currently experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, big and painful emotions or trauma triggers and are struggling with low self-worth and/or self-image issues, having difficulties within relationships, or feeling overwhelmed as a parent, I am here to guide and help you find the solutions that are right for you.
Therapy Approach
I help children, teens, and adults by creating a brave space where I will listen, validate your feelings, and be empathetic. In this space, you can feel free to be yourself and express your needs, wants, thoughts, emotions, and feelings without fear of being judged. I am an optimistic individual and will provide you with support, challenge you, and may ask you to do some assignments outside of therapy. Sometimes therapy may feel uncomfortable, and that’s okay. Together we will work through it and you’ll find it to be very rewarding.
My approach to counseling and therapy is very integrative because everyone is unique and different. Therefore, my approach will also differ with each client and will be the one that best fits your needs. For example, if you are having recurrent thoughts about your past, I will lean on a strengths-based approach to help alleviate your symptoms. In the expressive therapy I provide for children, I utilize art therapy, play therapy, sand tray therapy, story therapy, and other approaches. I help children and teens learn about uncomfortable feelings and find ways to manage their emotions in ways that work for them.

Interests, Passions, & Fun Facts about Rosio
I am a therapist by day and an artist by night. My mediums are pencil, paint, and yarn. I also enjoy reading and writing. Some of my favorite genres are YA, fantasy, and manga, and I have written a few (unpublished) children’s stories. To satisfy my competitive side, I like to play tabletop games and video games. A final fun fact about me is that I have a turtle named Donatello who likes to beg for food and watches hockey, professional wrestling, and anime with me. We root for the Vegas Golden Knights (Go, Knights, go!).
